Local Storage Only

All data is stored locally on your device using secure local storage:

• Emotion records
• Quest completion logs
• User profile and statistics
• Profile photos (optional)

No Cloud Sync

We do not use cloud storage or sync your data to any servers. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.

Data Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Export: Export your data to a backup file at any time
• Import: Import data from a backup file to a new device
• Delete: Permanently delete all data from within the app

Permissions

The app requests the following permissions only when needed:

• Camera: To take profile photos (optional, user-initiated)
• Photo Library: To select profile photos (optional, user-initiated)
• Storage: To save and restore data backups (optional, user-initiated)

All permissions are optional and only requested when you use the relevant feature.

No Third-Party Services

We do not use:

• Analytics or tracking services
• Advertising networks
• Social media integrations
• Cloud storage services
• Any other third-party data collection services

No Account Required

Mindful Quest does not require user registration or account creation. The app works completely offline.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is designed for users 18 and older.
